📜 Interesting reads or videos
One hundred years ago, radio towers started going up, and commercialized radio broadcasting was introduced. Everybody thought that it was going to completely destroy the music industry as they knew it. After all why would anybody buy a phonograph record if they could just listen to it on the radio for free?
So naturally, we concocted a bunch of insane laws that make it illegal to hum a song in public. Warner/Chappelle collected over 14 million dollars from people singing happy birthday in public
